Served with Mercantile Bank of India, London & China 1891-1893, Assist Treasurer of Sarawak 1894-1897, Acting PMG & Magistrate Court of Requests 1897, Acting Treasurer & Clerk to the Council Negri 1898-1900, Treasurer & Supreme Court Judge 1900-1902, Adtr & Adviser to the Pangeran of Lawas 1902-1904, Assist Cdr “R” Dvsn Metropolitan Police 1914, served in the Great War as Ordinary Seaman RND 1914-1915, cmsnd as Lieut ASC /1/1915, prom Capt /8/1915, Assist Sec Ministry of Information 1918-1919, Sec and Mgr Hurlingham Club 1925-1934.
